Man United Manager 2023: Erik ten Hag became the new manager of Manchester United in April 2022, signing a three-year deal with an option to extend for another year. The former Ajax boss replaced Ralf Rangnick, who was in charge on an interim basis.

Ten Hag left Ajax for Manchester United in 2022 after a successful spell in Amsterdam. He won three Eredivisie titles in a row with De Godenzonen and also lifted two KNVB Beker cups. He also reached the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2018/19, knocking out Real Madrid and Juventus along the way.

Ajax were on course to win another league title in 2019/20, but the season was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The KNVB decided not to award the trophy or relegate any teams. Ten Hag had taken over Ajax in 2017, replacing Marcel Keizer. He had previously coached FC Utrecht, Go Ahead Eagles and Bayern Munich II.

Ten Hag had a remarkable record at Ajax, winning 74 per cent of his games. He scored 593 goals and conceded only 184. Ten Hag repeated the feat in February 2023, as he continued to impress with his style of play and results. He also secured the Carabao Cup trophy for the Red Devils and ensured a top four finish in the Premier League for the 23/24 season.

He is still in charge of Manchester United as of 2024 and hopes to achieve more success with the club in the future.
